About The AI Shift
Enterprise AI adoption doesn't fail because of the technology. It fails because of the gap between what AI can do and how organizations actually work.
The AI Shift is where I document that gap and how to close it.
Who's behind this?
I'm David, an IT professional based in Barcelona, working at dsm-firmenich — one of the top players in the beauty, health and nutrition industry. My day-to-day sits at the intersection of Microsoft 365 Communication and Productivity tools, Copilot adoption, and enterprise process automation — managing a diverse product portfolio that thousands of users consume.
This blog exists because I kept running into the same problem: most content about enterprise AI is either too theoretical or too salesy. Very few people write about what it actually looks like to bring Copilot, AI agents, and other trending technologies into an organization where people have real jobs, legacy systems, and limited patience for hype.
What you'll find here
Copilot Monthly Digest: A no-nonsense monthly breakdown of M365 Copilot updates that actually matter for enterprise teams.
Adoption stories: What works, what doesn't, and what I wish someone had told me before rolling out AI tools to thousands of users.
The human side of AI: Change management, training design, and the mindset shift required to make AI stick in corporate environments.
Why "The AI Shift"?
Because adopting AI in the enterprise is not a software deployment, it's a shift. A shift in how people think about their work, how teams collaborate, and how organizations make decisions. The technology is the easy part. The mindset shift is the hard one.
That's what I write about.
